Gran Malo Horchata Tequila: Our Buying Guide
What it is
Gran Malo Horchata is a tequila liqueur built on the flavors of horchata, the Mexican rice-and-cinnamon drink. Blanco tequila is blended with cinnamon, vanilla and a creamy rice-milk sweetness and bottled at 15% ABV.
How it tastes
Cinnamon sugar and vanilla up front, a creamy mid-palate, and a light tequila note underneath so it never reads as a dessert syrup. Serve it cold.
How to drink it
- Chilled shot dusted with cinnamon.
- Over ice with a splash of cold-brew coffee.
- Dessert margarita: 2 oz Horchata, 1 oz blanco tequila, 0.5 oz fresh lime, cinnamon-sugar rim.
